Had a profitable day Thursday and hit Truculent--sweated out the inquiry/objection--in R4 so I'll keep tabs on my bets here again today. In R5, let's go with the 8 Dark Vector $10 W/P and 8 over 1 5 6 and 10 and reverse $3 exacta keys. $44 total wagers. Like the 10 as longshots.

Made $30.50 on place bet, lost $14 on race. Another crappy day for Saratoga with horses being scratched. Race No. 6, going with 1 Air of Defiance. $3 exacta key 1/all and 6 2 4 over 1. $3 tri key 1/6/all. $10 W/P. $68 total wagers.

Horrible start ruined it for Air of Defiance. 6 was too good. Made $40.05 on $3 exacta and $10 place. Lost $27.95 on race, down $41.95 on day, In Race 7--another short field--going with the 8 20 w/P.

8 was much the best. Made $63 on $20 W/P. Up $21.05 on the day. These "off the turf" races are downers. Short fields and in mud. Got to go with the original favorite Peak Popularity. $20 W/P and $3 exacta key 10/all. $61 in wagers.

Seconditis again. Made $41 on place bet. Lost $20 on race. Now up $1.05 on day. Short prices all day. Means tomorrow will be bombs away. Going with Irad in a big race as is everybody else. He's run over me a couple of times today. $20 exacta 5/1 backed up with $10 Exacta 1/5.

Lost $30 on picks listed here. Hit the tri--which was quite short in my opinion--in my backup bets. Irad has it in for me. Last race, thank god. Might as well bet harness racing. Down $28.95 on day here. Going with a longshot--if there is such a thing in a 7-horse field--with No. 1 Frau Diablo. Let's go $10 win and place on the 1, and 1/A and A/1 for $5 exactas. $80 in total wagers. Hope its sunny tomorrow and we get maximum fields.
